A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Friday after she forcibly took her roommate’s phone. Shortly before noon, deputies were called to the 7300 block of Camarilla Avenue in Yucca Valley by a woman who said that Tesha Bunke, 41, had taken her cell phone while she was making a call. The women had been arguing because Bunke’s dog had allegedly killed one of the victim’s ducks. Bunke kept the phone for about 10 minutes before returning it to the victim. After an investigation, Tesha Bunke was arrested on suspicion of strong-arm robbery, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $100,000.
