THEATRE 29’S “INTO THE WOODS” HOPES THEIR PRINCE WILL COME

Theatre 29 has almost completed the primary casting for their upcoming production of Stephen Sondheim’s Broadway fairy tale musical, “Into the Woods,” but are one performer short. The darker retelling of the Grimm fairy tales, helmed by the multi-award winning director Charles Harvey, will take the stage weekends beginning April 21 through May 14 at the theatre on Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms. The role of Cinderella’s Prince is still being sought, due to a cancellation after casting. Men in the 17-30 age range who can sing are urged to come down to the Theatre anytime after 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday for an impromptu audition. Theatre 29 needs to fill the position quickly, so those interested are advised to contact the Director, Charles Harvey, at [email protected] as soon as possible.
