Students at Theater 29’s Summer Youth Theatre Program have been practicing for five weeks now and are ready to open “High School Musical Jr.” Two productions of the musical are set to perform this weekend; the junior cast of 7- to 10-year-olds and the senior cast of students 11 and over. On Friday and Saturday, July 26 and 27, the junior cast performs at 5 p.m. and the seniors take the stage at 8 p.m. On Sunday July 28 the juniors perform at noon, and the curtain rises for the senior final show at 3 p.m. For tickets visit theatre29.org or call the Theatre 29 Box Office at 760-361-4151.
