Theatre 29 closed the musical production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” last weekend. However, the production is all packed up and ready to travel to the Barstow Performing Arts Center for a final weekend of performances. The show’s director, Z107.7’s own, Rebecca Havely has more…
Last Sunday when the curtain closed on the Theatre 29 stage for its production of “Joseph…” instead of striking the set, it was all packed into trucks and trailers in preparation for the performances this weekend in Barstow. Long-time Theatre 29 volunteer Ed Will, whom you may remember as a multi-award winning Musical Director of many Theatre 29 productions; is behind the move. He suggested that a Theatre 29 production travel to the nearly 700-seat, state-of-the-art facility. Will, who is now the Civic Center and Special Events Manger at the Barstow PAC, worked with the Theatre 29 Board of Directors and the show’s artistic director to plan the event move. So, if you missed the show at Theatre 29 or just want to see it one more time, reserve your seats now. The cast and crew are excited to be a part of this unique community theatre experience!
“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” has two performances in Barstow; Saturday September 23 at 7 p.m. and a 2 p.m. Sunday matinee September 24.
