Theatre 29 had a very successful first fund-raiser for its building expansion fund with the musical revue “Mis-Cast” raising some $3,000 last month. Anyone who wants to help with the effort to greatly expand and improve the Theatre 29 building is being urged to purchase a memorial brick in the “Serenity Garden” located at the east end of the facility. Managing editor Tami Roleff says that you, too, can be a part of the effort…
Along with the Simi Dabah sculpture and seating area is a wall that is covered with custom-engraved tiles. The tiles are purchased by volunteers, businesses, and members of the community who want to show their support for Twentynine Palms’ community theater. Two sizes are available: 4-by-8 inches, for $85, or 8-by-8 inches, for $150, and the tiles can be engraved with a message or logo of your choice. The funds raised will be used to retire the theater’s debt. To order a tile, call Cindy Daigneault at 760-366-8471.
