Theatre 29’s 2020 season was cancelled in mid-season due to Covid-19. Ernest Figueroa says the theater is still planning shows that will be available online…
After a successful online “Home Edition,” Theatre 29 is in the process of producing an online holiday review show in December and another on-line show in January, as well as a staged reading of an original show. When the all-clear is given for on-stage productions, the theater will resume where it stopped, with “The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe,” followed by “Jesus Christ Superstar.” In addition, for 2021, Theatre 29 hopes to continue its wildly successful Summer Youth Theater Children’s program production, performances of the fifth season for the “Baker’s Dozen” Improv troupe, and the fourth year for the “Mis-Cast” Musical Revue shows.
Ticket prices for 2021 are unchanged at $15 regular admission, $12 for seniors and military, and $10 for students and children 12 and under. In addition, a $1 stand-by ticket will be offered for students with ID five minutes before curtain.
