“The Baker’s Dozen” improv-ers carpooled out to Barstow Tuesday to perform for 400 plus fifth grade students. The PAC director, Ed Will, invited the troupe to entertain students from several surrounding elementary schools for their annual school trip. Director Chris Fleischman gave a brief description of how improv games and scenes work, how it’s all made up in the moment. He and assistant director Katie Fleishman took suggestions from the kids in the audience. Most had something to do with Disneyland or Poke`mon. The kids had some good laughs and the troupe had a great time.
“The Baker’s Dozen” has upcoming performances once a month through the end of the year. Their next performance is Saturday, May 26. For tickets visit theatre29.org or call the Theatre 29 Box Office at 760-361-4151.
