Theatre 29 announces auditions for the highly anticipated return of the eleventh incarnation of their much anticipated and highly successful Halloween haunt. Reporter Rebecca Havely has the auditions details…
Director Cyrus Short has auditions planned for “Resurgence,” this year’s Halloween haunted house. Adventurous souls will be self-guided, as they explore a haunted mansion that was unknowingly built on top of an abandoned mine after its collapse. Fright fans will be pleased with this year’s improved special effects from previous Haunts along with a few new ones. The production team is seeking at least 25 performers and behind-the-scenes technicians, ages 16 and older only. Auditions will be held on Monday, August 29, beginning at 6 p.m. on the Theatre 29 main stage at 73637 Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms. “Resurgence” will come to life beginning October 14 and will end Halloween night. Haunted house tours begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday nights October 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29, and also Sunday and Monday October 30 and 31.
