Director Scott Clinkscales in his directorial debut has cast “Sister Act” at Theatre 29. In addition to Artistic Direction Clinkscales will Musical Direct with the assistance of Liyan Lagevardi and he will co-choreograph with Lisa Goldberg. Cast in the leading role of Deloris Van Cartier is award-winning actress, Robin Wilson. Virginia Sulick, another award-winner, will play Mother Superior. Newcomers Brittany Baldridge and Emma Sanchez portray Sisters Mary Patrick and Mary Robert, respectively. Theatre 29 veteran performers taking on supporting roles include, Cindy Daigneault, Joseph Rego and Kevin Myers. Stepping into the stage lights from backstage is Tom Patu as bad guy Curtis Jackson. His thugs are played by Ethan Woolever, Michael Sanchez, and Noah Wahlberg. The Nun chorus includes Colleen Badel, Patti Brown, Char Childs, Sabrina Giron, Kegan Longuevan, Sara Mahan, Sarabeth Matilsky, and Imelda Patu. Rounding out the ensemble, both with multiple roles are Cruz Jimenez and Spencer Rodgers.
