THEATRE 29 ANNOUNCES NEXT YEAR’S SEASON

In a special tri-chamber gala event on September 23, Theatre 29 announced its 17th theatrical season. Reporter Rebecca Havely has the entire season line up for next year and the details for purchasing season tickets…

Theatre 29 announced its 2016 season, which includes a return of the Halloween Haunt, this year directed by the talented Cyrus Short. Also returning is the highly successful summer youth theater. The mainstage productions include the hysterical Neil Simon comedy “The Sunshine Boys,” directed by Eddie Tucker, followed by Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” a musical directed by the award winning duo of Gary Daigneault and Ed Will. The comedy “Don’t Hug Me, I’m Pregnant” will be directed by veteran director Marty Neider. The haunting musical “The Secret Garden” will be directed by multi-award winner Kathryn Ferguson. The beloved classic, “A Christmas Story,” rounds out the season, with director Eric Ross.

Season tickets are $65 for general admission. Senior and military are $52 and students with ID are only $37. To purchase season tickets, which includes all five mainstage productions and the Halloween Haunt go to theatre29.org or call the theater box office at 760-361-4151
