Theatre 29 has announced casting for its upcoming virtual musical production of “Songs For A New World.” Director Scott Clinkscales has assembled an ensemble of award-winning performers to bring this production of the Jason Robert Brown song cycle to life. The cast includes Analisa Pilecki, Ben Bees, Ceisley Jefferson, Haley Kooyman, Christian Quevedo, Haley Izurieta, Jacquie Nicholson, Jasmine Shaffer, Liyan Lagevardi, and Van Angelo. With in-person performances still prohibited, this production will be filmed at the historic Smith’s Ranch Auditorium in Twentynine Palms. “Songs for a New World” will stream online weekends from April 2 through April 25.
