“Little Shop of Horrors” is set in a little failing flower shop in New York City.
The clumsy shop clerk Seymore Krelborn will be played by Aidan Bosworth. Audrey, the bleach blonde receptionist with a big heart, will be portrayed by newcomer Laura Berry. Audrey’s sadistic boyfriend, Orin Scrivello, aka the dentist, will be played by Christopher Paul Schoonover. The man-eating plant named “Audrey Two” will played by Charles Harvey. A trio of doo-wop singers—Crystal, Ronette and Chiffon—will be played by Char Childs, Grace Rodriguez and Kegan Longuevan. Dennis “Easy” Boos will play the flower shop owner Mr. Mushnik, and rounding out the cast are Kurt Schaupner as a derelict and Cody Joseph plays a wino.
The production is directed by Gary Daigneault with musical direction by Scott Clinkscales.
“Little Shop of Horrors” tickets are $10 to $15. The show will run Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 from October 4 through 27 at Theatre 29 and on November 2 and 3 at the Barstow Performing Arts Center.
