The magnificently macabre new musical comedy, “The Addams Family,” has been cast by a multi-award winning team. Artistic and musical director Kathryn Ferguson is joined by choreographer Derik Shopinski. Leonard Webber is cast as the suave head of the family, Gomez. The dark mistress Morticia will be portrayed by Virginia Sulick. Jasmine Shaffer plays Wednesday and Amanda Mohn plays Pugsly. Charles Harvey took the role of Fester and Cindy Daigneault plays Grandma. Newcomer Edward Pierce is cast as Lurch. Wednesday’s love- smitten fiance Lucas will be played by Scott Clinkscales. His folks Mal and Alice will be portrayed by Gary Daigneault and Amanda Winters. The singing, dancing undead chorus includes Char Childs, Lisa Goldberg, Janet Peercy, Martha Boyd, Patti Brown, Ben Bees, James Hodgson, Cyrus Short and Derik Shopinski.
The musical “The Addams Family” will run five consecutive weekends on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. beginning October 2 through Halloween night, October 31, with two 2:30 matinees on October 18 and 24.
