Theatre 29 and Directors John Wright and Lizzie Schmelling have cast 20 people for Theatre 29’s Summer Youth Theater production, “The Perils of Goldilocks.” Marissa Thomas is Goldilocks, Curtis Mohn is Papa Bear, Julie Taylor is Mama Bear, and Natalie Coughlin is Baby Bear. The rest of the cast, which play dual or multiple roles, include Aiden Bosworth, Scott Clinkscales, Arianna Collard, Diana Jimenez, Winnie Kelley, Denali Kern, Jessica Lomeli, Mac Miller, Amanda Mohn, Shane Scott, Brianna Sears, Sean Sears, Jasmine Shaffer, Emily Sheckler, Kris Thomas, and Christina Turner. The first act of “The Perils of Goldilocks” is a comic re-telling of the classic fairy tale; the second act features Goldilocks on trial for breaking and entering. The play runs weekends June 28 through July 27 at Theatre 29 in Twentynine Palms.
