THE YUCCA VALLEY PLANNING COMMISSION REVIEWED AND FILED FIVE YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

After reviewing and approving the Western Joshua Tree and native plant permits, the Yucca Valley Planning Commission reviewed and filed the Capital Improvement Program, a five-year planning tool for the fiscal year 2022 through 2026. The Capital Improvement Program includes streets, highways, parks, recreation areas, and public facilities like the modernization of the Senior Center and the Town Hall Consolidation Project. Deputy Town Manager Shane Stueckle provided essential and relevant information about the projects included in the CIP. Also mentioned was last Wednesday was the last day for Joshua Tree permits until the Department of Fish and Game makes its final decision. Because of a very packed schedule, the next meeting of the Yucca Valley Planning Commission will be on Monday, May 9.
