The Groves Cabin Theater of Morongo Valley is now taking reservations for the drama, “The Seahorse.” Reporter Rebecca Havely shares how to reserve your tickets…
“The Sea Horse,” a drama by Edward J. Moore, is in rehearsals now at the Groves Cabin Theater in Morongo Valley. Director Abe Daniels has cast Rebecca Havely as Gertrude Blum, a formidable woman who owns a waterfront bar and has a disastrous track record with men, and Scott Cutler as Harry Bales her alcoholic, sailor/lover. After returning from sea, Harry wants to settle down with Gertrude and buy a fishing boat. Gertrude fights him every step of the way as Harry pushes for a happy ending. This dysfunctional love story has a leathery charm. For tickets call 760-365-4523. The show runs from February 13, through March 19. Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m.; Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets are $12 each payable at the door with cash only please. Seats must be reserved as this intimate venue has very limited seating.
