You still have time for a good laugh at a classic comedy. “The Odd Couple” at Theatre 29 ends its successful run this weekend with performances Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 and a Super Bowl alternative matinee Sunday at 2:30. In “The Odd Couple,” two opposites attempt to live together. The divorced sportswriter Oscar Madison is an untidy mess played by Kevin Myers. Felix Unger, played by Chris Fleischman, is a neat freak with a quirky personality. Director Katie Fleischman has updated the setting from 1960’s Manhattan to the present day. The production features dynamic ensemble actors Janet Peercy, Graham Cooley, Robert Ames, and Joe Rego as Oscar’s poker-playing friends. Kegan Longuevan and Brandy Thiers appear as Oscar’s neighbors, the quirky Pigeon sisters. Tickets to “The Odd Couple” are $15 for general admission; seniors, military and students with ID are $12. For tickets visit theatre29.org or call the Theatre 29 box office at 760-361-4151.
