“THE NERD” OPENS NEXT WEEK IN YUCCA VALLEY

The cast and crew of “The Nerd” is finding it hard to get through rehearsals without pausing for fits of laughter. The comedy, written by Larry Shue, is a laugh-out loud comedy. The talented cast includes Ben Bees, Beau Stoker, Jericho McWilliams, Bianca Stoker, Dave Jessup, Shelly Sheckler and Trevor Carpenter. The production is directed by Rebecca Havely and opens with a gala to benefit The Kiwanis Club of Yucca Valley. The gala includes food and drink, a silent auction and a 50/50 drawing. The play opens Saturday, June 25 and runs Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. and Sunday, matinees are at 2:30. through July 17. St. Joseph’s Church is located at 56312 Church Street in Yucca Valley.
