The Hi-Def Fringe Festival has announced the line-up for its second annual event. With all the details here’s Rebecca Havely…
Thirteen different shows will perform at this summer’s Hi-Def Fringe Festival, with performers from the Hi- and Low-Desert as well as San Diego and Los Angeles. Last year’s audience favorite winners will return from LA: “The Show That Shall Not Be Named”—improv comedy with a Harry Potter theme; from San Diego, Catherine Barnes will present “The International Man of Mystery;” an original piece by Grey Forge LeFey entitled “Scrummy Bits of SoFonda Le Fey;” plus other performers, workshops and special sessions. New this year is the class “Short Attention Span Theatre” for young children and teens. There will also be special sessions on making a living as an actor and developing a community-based theatre company.
The Hi-Def Fringe Festival will take place at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center August 23 through 25. For tickets visit hidesertfringe.org.
