Last week, the Morongo Teachers Association and the Morongo Unified School District went into mediation over a contract impasse, while the classified employees waited to see what happened. According to MUSD Superintendent Tom Baumgarten, tentative agreements have been reached between the District and the two bargaining groups representing certificated and classified employees. Baumgarten told z107.7 that details of the agreements would not be released publicly until after both employee groups, and the District, had reviewed and accepted them.
