TELESCOPE WORKSHOP AT SKY’S THE LIMIT

Would-be, wannabe, and experienced astronomers, dust off your old telescope and join the Sky’s the Limit telescope workshop. Rebecca Havely says there will be plenty to see in the night sky

Sky’s the Limit will hold a telescope workshop Saturday, July 21, starting at 7:30 p.m. If you have an old or a new telescope and would like to learn how to mount it, set it up and operate it, this workshop is for you. Experienced stargazers are also welcome to join the stargazing group. A waxing gibbous moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars are easy targets for new astronomers. There’s no fee for this workshop but Sky’s the Limit greatly appreciates any donations. Dress for unpredictable desert weather and bring snacks, bottled waters, small flashlights, binoculars and chairs.
