Teens call cops on man who was allegedly trying to trade beer for sex

A man was arrested on suspicion of soliciting sex from two minors and resisting arrest in Twentynine Palms.

On Monday (December 1), San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area Twentynine Palms Highway and Encelia Avenue in Twentynine Palms where they contacted Joshua Padore, 31, a transient of Twentynine Palms. Deputies say that Padore approached to teenagers and offered them beer in exchange for sexual acts. The teenagers left the area and called 911.

During their contact with Padore, deputies say that he tensed up during the arrest and physically resisted. No injuries were reported, and Padore was taken into custody. Padore is on probation for an assault on a burglary.

Joshua Padore was arrested for investigation into contacting a minor with sexual intent and resisting an executive officer. He is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $30,000 bail.
