TEEN BURGLAR SUSPECT ARRESTED IN YUCCA VALLEY

A teenager was arrested Wednesday morning after he tried to break into a house by crawling through a young boy’s bedroom window. According to a Sheriff’s report, a boy, identified only as a Hispanic male juvenile, tried to climb in the window of a 9-year-old boy in the 57900 block of Pimlico Street in Yucca Valley about 7 a.m. When the boy yelled for his mother, the suspect threw his hands up in the air and fled. Deputies searched the neighborhood, and found a suspect nearby about 45 minutes later, who was identified by the boy. The juvenile was arrested for investigation of burglary and receiving stolen property, and booked into Juvenile Hall.
