A teenager was arrested Saturday evening, accused of hitting a pregnant woman with his skateboard. According to a Sheriff’s report, the teen, who was not identified due to this age, went with two friends into the Vons grocery store in Yucca Valley about 6 p.m. and started riding his skateboard inside the store. A store supervisor, who is nine weeks pregnant, told the boy he could not ride his skateboard inside the store. When the juvenile ignored her, she escorted him and his friends outside the store. Near the exit of the store, the boy swung his skateboard at her, but missed. The boy swung the board again, and hit the woman in the nose, giving her a nosebleed and fracturing her nose. The teenager and his friends fled the scene but were later located at the Yucca Valley community park where he was arrested for investigation of assault with a weapon.
