It’s mid-September, so it’s time to get your yum on! Managing Editor Tami Roleff previews the lineup at the Taste of Morongo Basin tonight…
The Eighth Annual Taste of Morongo Basin is tonight! Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Joshua Tree, the extremely popular event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bell Center at Copper Mountain College. Taste of Morongo Basin features food from about a dozen local restaurants (including Papa’s Smokehouse, 29 Palms Inn, Bruce’s Coyote Kitchen, Middle Eastern Hookah Lounge, Joshua Tree Saloon, Park Rock Cafe, Two Guys Pizza, Los Palmas Mexican food, and more), as they compete to win over your taste buds. There will also be raffles and music. Proceeds go toward high school scholarships, student leadership camps, and local community service projects. Tickets are $20 and are available from any Joshua Tree Rotary member or my emailing [email protected].
