When the 29 Palms Art Gallery was burglarized April 9, the thieves broke windows, sliding glass doors, display cases, and stole numerous items from the gallery’s gift shop. Many residents have donated funds to help clean up the damage. The gallery will hold a tango dance party fund-raiser May 13 starting at 7 p.m., at a dance studio in Palm Springs. The cost to dance is $10, and the entire donation goes to the art gallery. Tickets will be on sale at the art gallery starting Friday, April 30. For more information, call John King at 760-219-8387.
