Jamie Haney will share stories of her epic 2,600 plus mile hike on the Pacific Crest Trail. She’ll bring her backpack and present images of her favorite gear and places along the trail, as well as logistics. With a pack averaging 32 pounds, she started on April 16 and finished on September 26 of last year, in a journey of joy, tears, snow, heat, mountain peaks, and many pairs of shoes. Learn about what it takes to hike the entirety of the trail, on Saturday May 10, at the Joshua Tree Branch Library at 3 p.m.
