The third annual Hi-Def Fringe Fest will be a live stream event this year. The lineup of talent has been announced. Rebecca Havely has all the details…
The Hi-Def Fringe Fest goes high tech with their festival this year. Producers Miri Hunter and Ann Van Haney will host the live-stream event. They have cast previous performers Sue Neal, Turiya Autry, Roy Boucher and the 2019 Audience Choice Winner, Marianne Emma Jeff.
New to this year’s lineup are desert dwellers Gary Powers, Greyson Hayles, and Kurt Schauppner.
Entries also include Abby Palen from Ohio, Mia Smith from Michigan, and from Tel Aviv, Lisa Solomon, plus several special guest appearances. A zoom video performance by last year’s winner of the Producer’s Award, “The Show That Shall Not Be Named,” will feature Harry Potter-themed improv comedy.
The virtual festival on both Facebook and Twitch will air live June 13 from 2 p.m. through 8:30 p.m. Pacific time.
Tickets for the Hi-Def Fringe Fest will be pay-what-you-can contributions accepted via Venmo with the proceeds shared with festival performers.
For the third year in a row, the Hi-Def Fringe Festival is once again sponsored by Z107.7 Community Radio.
