The Yucca Valley Community Services Department has added dance classes to its enrichment programs. Instructor Chris Perry leads two classes. In the ballroom dance course. Students will learn the cha cha, foxtrot, rumba, tango and waltz. And in the East Coast swing class, learn about this retro-style dance that works with all types of music including Big Band, R&B, western swing, and rock. Classes are open to students 14 and up and begin October 7. Pre-registration is required. Ballroom dance steps off at 6:00 p.m., followed by East Coast swing at 7:00 p.m. Each four-week session is $40.
