Registration for children’s swim lessons offered by the town of Yucca Valley opens at noon, on Monday, June 4. Six class levels are offered, ranging from parent/baby classes to advanced swim techniques. Each session is eight lessons over two weeks, Monday through Thursday, and costs $48. Register online at www.yucca-valley.org, or in person at the Yucca Valley Community Center, noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. If you’re not sure what class level your swimmer belongs in, swim testing will be held Saturday, June 2, from 9 a.m. to noon, and Saturday, June 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. For more information, call 760-369-7211.
