SUSPICIOUS FIRE DESTROYS TRAVEL TRAILER IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

An abandoned travel trailer is a complete loss from a fire last night in the Desert Heights neighborhood of Twentynine Palms. County Fire Battalion Chief Scott Tuttle said firefighters were originally called to a truck fire at 9:25 p.m. in the 2000 block of Pampas Avenue; when they arrived, they found the travel trailer fully involved in flames. Tuttle said no one was on scene when they arrived and there were no other structures nearby. The cause is under investigation.
