Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are investigating a suspicious death in Twentynine Palms. Deputies were called to the 6400 block of Yucca Avenue about 6 p.m. for a welfare check. When they arrived, they found a deceased male on his front porch. Due to the suspicious circumstances, homicide detectives were called to conduct the investigation. At this time, the death has not been ruled a homicide. More information will be known following the autopsy by the coroner.
