Sheriff’s deputies are looking for up to three people who are suspected of stealing from the Dollar General and Rite Aid stores in Twentynine Palms Wednesday afternoon. According to Sheriff’s reports, two men and a woman entered the Dollar General store on Highway 62 about 2:30 p.m. They loaded their baskets with items from the store and then left with the filled baskets without paying. One of the men was dressed as a woman with a T-shirt that said “Swag.” The suspects fled in a silver Honda passenger car. Then about 10 minutes later, a man and woman, believed to be the same suspects involved with the Dollar General burglary, stole a large number of items, including a television set, from Rite Aid. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
