SUSPECTED DRUNK DRIVER ARRESTED ON $425,000 IN WARRANTS

A Yucca Valley woman who was stopped Tuesday for being a suspected drunk driver, was arrested when the California Highway Patrol determined she had more than $400,000 in outstanding arrest warrants. According to Sheriff’s records, the CHP stopped Bree Lewis, 25, in the 7300 block of Condalia in Yucca Valley just after 3 p.m. A records check revealed that Lewis had four warrants, at $100,000 each, for multiple theft charges, and a $25,000 warrant for her arrest for possession of a controlled substance. Bree Lewis was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, and is being held for her $425,000 in warrants.
