A suspected drug dealer was arrested in Joshua Tree on Thursday morning (October 19).
At around 11 a.m., Sheriff’s Deputies from the Morongo Basin Station’s Multiple Enforcement Team conducted a search at a house in the 5900 block of Valley View St in Joshua Tree. There, Deputies contacted Hector Hernandez, a 55 year-old resident of Joshua Tree, who they say is a convicted felon with a history of drug-related offenses.
During the search, Deputies report finding currency in various denominations methamphetamine, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia an and other items indicative of narcotics sales.
Hector Hernandez was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in in possession of narcotics for sale and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail on $50,000 bail.
