The Sheriff’s Department is investigating a suspected arson at a structure in Twentynine Palms Sunday. Firefighters were called to the 72400 block of 29 Palms Highway about 8:20 p.m. by the landlord who said someone may have broken into the home and started a fire. The fire was out when firefighters arrived. The Sheriff’s Arson and Bomb unit is investigating.
