Suspect stole gas, fought security officers at King of Hammers over the weekend

A King of the Hammers attendee was arrested for allegedly stealing a can of gasoline and then assaulting security guards at the event.

On Thursday (February 9), County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report that Christopher Sizemore, a 43 year-old resident of Placerville, stole a 5 gallon gas can at the King Of Hammers event in Johnson Valley.

It is alleged that security officers caught Sizemore, who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, in the act of the the theft, at which point Sizemore assaulted the security officers.

Arriving deputies arrested Christopher Sizemore for investigation into battery on a peace officer, public intoxication, and theft, at which point he was taken to the hospital for an unrelated medical issue.
