The Sheriff’s Department is investigating a strong-arm robbery at Walmart Monday afternoon. According to the Sheriff’s Department, an unidentified woman went into the store and was seen by store security concealing items inside a bag and then walking out without paying for them about 4:15 p.m. When employees confronted the woman, she allegedly began to assault them; they said she punched one person four to five times in the right arm and then used a set of keys to stab the victim in the arm. The woman then got into a U-Haul truck and left eastbound on the highway. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
