SUSPECT SOUGHT IN ROBBERY AT YUCCA VALLEY AT&T STORE

Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a suspect believed to have stolen headphones from an AT&T store in Yucca Valley Monday. According to a Sheriff’s report, shortly before 4 p.m., a man allegedly walked out without paying for three Powerbeats 3 headphones. As the man ran from the store, he was chased by employees, who told deputies that the suspect then pulled a knife from his pocket and threatened them. The employees then backed off. They said the suspect then dropped the headphones and entered the Panda Express restaurant where he hid in the restroom. When an employee confronted the suspect, he pushed his way past and fled. The suspect was then picked up by a white U-Haul pick-up truck. The suspect is described only as a white male wearing a black shirt and brown shorts.
