SUPERVISORS TO HONOR TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN WEDNESDAY

Mark Geletko is a retired Marine Corps sergeant major who teaches mixed martial arts sports to Marines, sailors, and their families. Geletko is the manager and coach at Strike Club 29 mixed martial arts, which he helped start in 2007. His students compete in boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian JuJitsu, submission grappling, and mixed martial arts all over the southwestern United States. Geletko was nominated as an Action Hero in the county’s Vision 2B Active campaign for his impact on community wellness by participating in and promoting physical fitness. He will be recognized by the county supervisors at a 10 a.m. ceremony at the San Bernardino County Government Center. Congratulations!
