After the San Bernardino County Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit for a Dollar General store in Joshua Tree, a local group including an organization calling itself the Joshua Tree Downtown Business Alliance, appealed the decision. At its June 4 meeting the Board of Supervisors will hear that appeal. The meeting will be held in the Chamber of the Board of Supervisors, County Government Center, 385 North Arrowhead Avenue, first floor, San Bernardino, starting at 10 a.m. For those interested in viewing the meeting, or in participating in public comment, note that Supervisor meetings can be attended remotely through the teleconferencing site at the county government center at Whitefeather Road in Joshua Tree.
