SUPERVISOR ROWE APPOINTED TO KEY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS

The County Board of Supervisors appointed Third District Supervisor Dawn Rowe to several boards and commissions during yesterday’s meeting. Rowe’s appointments include the Omnitrans Board of Directors, The County Transportation Authority, San Bernardino International Airport Authority, Morongo Basin Transit Authority, and Mountain Area Regional Transit Authority. Rowe said, “I’m extremely grateful that my colleagues on the Board recognize how my experience in local government can be an asset to these governing bodies. Transportation infrastructure is vital to building a vibrant economy in the Third District, and I’m excited to advance the interests of my constituents.” Rowe will also serve on the California State Association of Counties, Victor Valley Transit Authority, Urban Counties Caucus, and the County Flood Control District. Rowe served on the Yucca Valley Town Council from 2010 to 2014. she was appointed to the Board December 18, 2018. Her current term expires in November of 2020.
