This summer, fun is coming to a park near you! The Town of Yucca Valley is having activities with its Super Summer Squad. Recreation’s mobile fun truck will be bringing activities such as arts and crafts, face painting, sports, contests, and many more! The truck is packed with an enthusiastic team of staff members and a huge supply of balls, jump ropes, sporting equipment, and other fun stuff. With a new theme each week, the Super Summer Squad is sure to keep you entertained this summer. Best of all, these activities are free, thanks to the generous donation by the Yucca Valley Senior Club. For more information call 760-369-7211. These activities take place Mondays through Thursdays beginning on June 24 from 9-11:30 a.m. The program will be closed July 1-5. Mondays will be at the Yucca Valley Community Center at Dumosa at 29 Palms Highway; Tuesdays at Paradise Park, at Barron Drive at Indio Avenue; Wednesdays at Essig Park, at Warren Vista at Joshua Lane; and Thursdays will be at Jacobs Park, at Onaga Trail at Hopi Trail.
