The Sheriff Department’s arson investigator has called a fire in Joshua Tree Sunday night suspicious. Firefighters from Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, and Yucca Mesa were called to the Valley View Mobile Home park in the 6400 block of Valley View at 11 p.m. A car parked under a carport was fully involved with flames when crews arrived. Firefighters were able to keep the blaze from spreading to the nearby single-wide mobile home, although the outer wall was scorched. The cause is under investigation.
