SUNDAY EASTER EGG HUNTS IN TWENTYNINE PALMS AND YUCCA VALLEY

Easter egg hunts in Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley are set for this Easter Sunday. The Twentynine Palms Fire Explorers Post 121 will hold an Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 21, at the Luckie Park baseball fields. There will be two age groups: for children up to age 5, and children 5 and older. The egg hunt starts at 1 p.m.

The United Methodist Church of Twentynine Palms will have an Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to noon for children ages 1 to 7 years old. Children will receive a free raffle ticket as they arrive, and will then proceed to the craft table to decorate hard-boiled eggs and make bunny bags to collect eggs in. Then they go on an egg hunt. Every half hour, starting at 10:30 a.m., a number will be drawn from the raffle tickets and the child holding that ticket will receive an Easter basket. Children do not have to be present to win.

Desert Christ Park in Yucca Valley will host its fifth annual Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 21, starting at 8 a.m., immediately following the sunrise service in the amphitheater. Children should bring their own baskets. The event will also feature raffle prizes. The event is free and all are welcome. Desert Christ Park is located at 56200 Sunnyslope Drive in Yucca Valley.
