The Town of Yucca Valley and Yucca Valley High School Lady Trojan volleyball team present summer volleyball camp for girls in grades six through ten. The camp takes place at the Yucca Valley High School gym Monday through Thursday, August 10 through August 13. Designed to develop skill and game knowledge, and prepare for team tryouts. Campers will be given individual and group instruction in the fundamentals of volleyball through training sessions, drills and games. Coaches and players from the Lady Trojan Volleyball Team will direct the camp. Camp days begin at 9 a.m. with volleyball instruction and activities to 12:30 p.m. followed by a half hour to eat a sack lunch brought from home lunch until 1 p.m. Pool time follows lunch from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. No special equipment is required. The camp fee is $75 per player which includes a T-shirt and daily pass to the swim session.
