Take some time to enjoy the desert night sky this weekend at Sky’s the Limit Observatory and Nature Center. A variety of telescopes will be available for guests to view the incredible cosmic sights. Here’s Rebecca Havely with your invitation…
The bright summer Milky Way will be a beautiful sight at Sky’s the Limit Observatory and Nature Center star party Saturday. The event starts at 9 p.m. and lasts about three hours, although visitors are encouraged to come at any time and leave when they wish. Stargazers will also be able to see numerous star clusters, Saturn, and Jupiter. Volunteers will set up a variety of telescopes which visitors may use or bring your own. The weather is very unpredictable and star parties may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled due to cloudiness, rain, or excessive wind. For information on how to check the status of star parties, see this story at z1077fm.com.
