The Twentynine Palms Park and Rec Department has the solution for how to keep children busy during the summer when school is out. Summer day camp runs five, two-week sessions, for a total of 10 weeks, Monday through Friday, June 16 through August 22, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Activities include swimming at Luckie Park, arts and crafts, contests, sports, indoor and outdoor games, reading programs, bowling, and more. Summer day camp is limited to children in first through sixth grades. The cost is $520 for the entire summer, with payment plans available, or $125 per two-week session. Space is limited.
