Saturday’s free concert in the Yucca Valley summer music festival features New Sensations, a Top 40 cover band that plays hits by your favorite artists from the ’80s to today. The gates open at 6:30 p.m.; the music starts at 7 p.m. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and sit on the grass at the Yucca Valley Community Center ball field. You’re welcome to bring a cooler or buy food and refreshments from vendors on site. Dogs are allowed on the upper soccer field only.
