Students in both Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley were arrested for having illegal drugs at school. According to a Sheriff’s report, K-9 drug dog made a visit to Yucca Valley High School Tuesday morning, and found a student in possession of marijuana about 9 a.m. The boy was cited and released to the custody of his parents. A few hours later, at least one other Yucca Valley High School student was arrested for investigation of possession of possession of marijuana on school grounds. Twentynine Palms Junior High School officials called Sheriff’s deputies about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday to report that one student was in possession of marijuana and another student was under the influence. The two students were cited and released to the custody of their parents.
